Came across your blog when visiting Aroma of Joy... You post touched my heart today!
My father-in-law, every year picks the first dandelion in the yard for my mother in law. It's always in a small vase! A few weeks ago my dear FIL was diagnosed w/ cancer. Yes.. there is beauty, even in a weed! God is so good!
That is actually a very good photo! I'm glad you are sensitive to her heart. And the first few lines of your previous post were really sweet, and I think you wrote those yourself.
The SACRED bursting forth from the ordinary! That's the way it usually comes, I think. Not sure I've ever seen a better picture of weeds. Thanks for sharing!
How to know you have a boy:
ReplyDeleteThe fist full of weeds are all missing the flower part.
Happy Spring.
so true and so precious!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteMine calls those flowers as well.
Priceless....
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any dadnelions yet, isn't that crazy!?! And it's not for a lack of weeds!
ReplyDeleteMy little guys have managed to pick all my daffodiles for me though ;)
Precious.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE. And much more concise than the spring post I just wrote. MAN!
ReplyDeleteHappygeek - you're hilarious!!!
Want me to send you some Oak blossoms from my driveway?!
ReplyDeleteAwwww...my boys will only pick me one "flower" :-)
ReplyDeleteWe actually have lucked out so far and no dandelions. But that means no flowers on my table :( sniff.
ReplyDeleteSometimes they can be pretty . . . like in a vase on your table. :)

How do you already have weeds? I'm so jealous. The rain is drowning any potential blooms, weeds or no.
ReplyDeleteYou know Wes and Mindy? And I know your sister--the connections are endless!

ReplyDeleteIf you've got weeds, then you've got SPRING! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteHey Kelly, can I add you to my blogroll?
